Athens in $480s-$580s RT

Look, obviously you're going to see the Acropolis and all that stuff. So let's skip to the parts of Athens that aren't in ruins.

Truth is, the modern-day city can be just as charming as those old temples. There are plenty of beaches (it has its own Riviera!), a ton of cool markets, museums, rooftop restaurants, taverns, and some sweet mountaintop views that are well worth the hike. And if you run out of things to do in Athens, you can always head out to the islands!

Of course, if you want to get off the beaten track, mainland Greece has plenty to offer too :-)
