CHI → NYC in $135s RT (non-stop) [TEST]
New York doesn't need a sales pitch. It's the city that everyone's seen a thousand times on screen and still gasps at in person.
What does need saying: right now you can get there and back from Chicago for $135 — non-stop, no messing about with connections. That's less than a nice dinner in either city.
O'Hare to LaGuardia, wheels-up to wheels-down in about two and a half hours. Grab a weekend, grab the deal, and go be a tourist in the best city to be one.
Jack's take:
Domestic non-stops to New York out of Chicago usually sit around $280–$350 round-trip, so $135 is roughly half price — and it's non-stop, which is the bit that normally costs extra. Add in a city where the best experiences (the ferry, the parks, the skyline) are free, and a long weekend in New York suddenly costs less than a tank of gas and a hotel back home. Cheap, direct, and to a bucket-list city all at once — that combination doesn't come around often, so we'd jump on it.
