You might be a bit confused as to why American Airlines is flying a non-stop route between Las Vegas and Tokyo. After all, we were when this popped across our screen earlier today.

But some deep digging led us to the answer: CES! These flights are for folks in Tokyo looking to visit Vegas for the show but here's a big secret: they have to fly those same flights in reverse, too. 

So while the Japanese gawk at self-driving cars or something in Vegas, you can be in Tokyo savoring at an omakase that ends with with a Tokyo banana for dessert :-)
