Who needs 'high season' anyway?

Not Greece, that's for sure. By September, the temps have cooled, the beaches have quietened and Kos comes into its real prime.

We don't know about you, but we'd take tranquil end of season sea swims, over peak summer sunbathing, any day!

As for Athens in November, the crowds are as low as they're ever gonna be, so you'll get to roam around the ruins in peace.

Travel tip: You can get free entry to all the major monuments (including the Acropolis!) on Sunday the 7th of December :-)
