Venice in $430s-$560s RT

Everybody in the entire world wants to ride a Venetian gondola!

Okay, maybe not quite, but it can definitely feel that way when you visit Venice during peak season. This little town gets absolutely packed.

So while their off-season weather can get a bit damp and dreary, it can also work in your favor! The vibes are less hectic and more moody, perfect for sipping espresso and taking pictures down the (finally quiet) stone corridors. 

Buuuuut, why not take advantage of that winter wonderland to your north! Our recommendation? Spend a couple days in Venice, and then hop a train to the Alps or the Dolomites for skiing, fondue, and storybook views. Venice is small, but spots like this are perfect for stretching your legs.
