FYI, the best way to organise a road trip is combining two cities with a multi-city trip, so you won't have to drive back down if you make it all the way up to meet Nessie!
If you travel between the 1st and the 25th of August, you may be able to stroll around Edinburgh in its most glorious time — for the , of course! Picture a whirlwind of street performers, pop-up stages, and the whole city humming with creative chaos :-)
