Alaska in $270s-$480s RT

When most people think of Alaska, they think blue lips and white snow.

But these late summer/early fall dates bring entirely different colors. The brightest hues come between the middle of August and the end of September, so aim for those dates if you want an especially gorgeous background for your hiking selfies.

You can forget about freezing your butt off, too—Anchorage doesn't get really cold until November, although Fairbanks starts seeing frost in mid-September. But a trip up north comes with its own colors during the fall :-)
